If you live or work in Pendleton County, West Virginia, it’s likely you’ve met Dayne Davis. Whether on the baseball field coaching little league, or out supporting events and local businesses, Dayne takes pride in doing what he can to make his small town of Franklin the very best it can be.
“What I love most about living in Franklin is the small, tight knit sense of community we share. Most days, I know what my kids did in school before they even get home. It’s a good and bad thing depending on the day.”

Although Dayne jokes, his love of Franklin and Pendleton County is evident. In his free time, Dayne is a passionate volunteer. He coaches youth basketball and baseball, serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Pendleton County Little League, and is current President of Pendleton County Youth Sports Inc. When asked why Dayne volunteers, his answer was simple.
“I just want to make a positive impact on my community. That’s why I work for a bank that makes this community better.”

In addition to youth sports, Dayne serves on the Board of Directors for the Pendleton County Economic Development Authority. This volunteer activity ties in perfectly to his role at PCB where he works with individuals and businesses.
“My favorite part of being a lender for PCB is helping my customers figure out a unique solution to a problem they may have. I’ve been in lending for 16 years, the past 11 with PCB. Whether I’m with my family or out supporting businesses and events, I’m proud of what PCB can provide for my neighbors and local businesses.”

Outside of the office, Dayne enjoys family time and outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and hunting. If you’ve never visited Franklin or Pendleton County, you’re missing out on small town charm and scenery that could be featured in a Hallmark movie. Dayne says:
“I’d encourage visitors to travel the beautiful county! We have so many incredible spots like Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks, Smoke Holes, and Seneca Caverns. I might be biased, but to me, Pendleton County is the most beautiful county in the most beautiful state.”
