A lifelong resident of Bridgewater, Virginia, Sarah Prusak is passionate about serving the community in which she lives, works, and raises her daughter, Ella. The energy she brings to her role as Business Development Officer is contagious – she’s always looking for ways to help her friends, neighbors, customers, and local businesses that she visits.
Her passion for helping others led Sarah to serve in a Board of Directors role at New Creation, a faith-based nonprofit creatively counteracting sex trafficking with a local heart and global approach.

A lifelong resident of Bridgewater, Virginia, Sarah Prusak is passionate about serving the community in which she lives, works, and raises her daughter, Ella. The energy she brings to her role as Business Development Officer is contagious – she’s always looking for ways to help her friends, neighbors, customers, and local businesses that she visits.
Her passion for helping others led Sarah to serve in a Board of Directors role at New Creation, a faith-based nonprofit creatively counteracting sex trafficking with a local heart and global approach.
Sarah says, “Simply put, New Creation is amazing. So many people don’t realize that human trafficking is a very real thing, even in our community. Sabrina Dorman-Andrew, Executive Director, has not only helped save women who have been victims by giving them jobs but has brought about an awareness in our community to help end trafficking!”
Sarah was drawn to the organization because of Sabrina’s passion and devotion for the cause. She attended a business meeting where Sabrina was invited to speak and knew she had to do something to help. Having a young daughter, the mission hit close to home.
“Having a daughter and listening to Sabrina’s devotion and passion – chills! My heart is invested in New Creation. I have truly never met someone as genuinely passionate about what they do as Sabrina. It’s inspiring.”
The mission of the organization tugged at Sarah’s heart, and the survivor-made goods and fair trade accessories in the New Creation shop were just icing on the cake.
When asked to pick her favorite purchase from the shop, she said “too many to choose – pretty sure I own one of most everything!” We believe it too – Sarah is an advocate for New Creation at PCB, often recruiting her coworkers as new shoppers to the cause. One visit in the shop, and you’re hooked!
Sarah volunteers for her community because she believes in how special it truly is. She brings that same passion to her role at PCB each day. She wants to be a helper for local businesses and nonprofits. Seeing them grow and succeed positively impacts the community she grew up in and where she’s currently raising her daughter.
“My favorite part of Bridgewater is the wonderful sense of community that we share as residents. I am fortunate to raise my daughter in the same community that I grew up. Ice skating, movies, paint nights, live music, and a ton of parks – there’s so much we can do together right in our backyard!”
