Minimum to open is $50 for a Kasasa checking account and $50 for Kasasa Saver. If monthly qualifications are met, we will refund domestic ATM surcharge and terminal fees up to $4.99 per transaction. To qualify for preferred rates on your Kasasa Saver, you must meet the following requirements in your Kasasa checking account : (1) Have at least twelve (12) debit card point of sale transactions post and clear your account per monthly "qualification cycle" (Does not include ATM transactions); (2) Sign into online banking at least once per monthly "qualification cycle"; and (3) Have at least one (1) direct deposit or automatic debit post and clear your account per monthly "qualification cycle". Qualifying transactions must post to and clear your account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date the transaction was made to post to and clear an account. ATM-processed transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card transactions. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" means a period beginning one day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. "Statement Cycle" means a period beginning on the Thursday after the second Wednesday of one month through the second Wednesday of the following month. Kasasa checking rewards will be transferred to your Kasasa Saver account by the business day after the last day of the monthly statement cycle. If qualifications in your Kasasa checking are met each monthly qualification cycle: (1) balances up to $49,999.99 in Kasasa Saver receive an APY of 1.00%; and (2) balances of $50,000.00 and above in Kasasa Saver earn 0.10% interest rate on the portion of the balance of $50,000.00 and above , resulting in 1.00% - 0.47% APY depending on the balance. If qualifications are not met on your Kasasa checking account, all balances in the Kasasa Saver earn 0.01% APY. Limit one account per SSN. The Kasasa Saver account is only offered in conjunction with the Kasasa checking accounts. If the Kasasa checking account closes, the Kasasa Saver account will be changed to a Community Savings Account. During any statement cycle you may not make more than six (6) withdrawals or transfers to another account of yours or to a third party by means of a pre authorized or automatic transfer or telephone order or instruction, computer transfer, or by check, draft, debit card or similar order to a third party. You can make unlimited in person withdrawals.
